Tragic Loss on Malaysia Airlines Crash

By now, you have all heard of the missing Malaysia Airline flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Tragically, one of our own club members has been affected. Over the weekend, Aubrey and Sondra Wood were informed that one of the passengers on that flight is their son, Philip, age 51. Aubrey is a long-time member of the club, and he and Sondra have been a big part of the Keller Rotary family for many years.

 

Philip is officially missing, as no confirmed sign of the aircraft had been located as of the writing of this story. Philip, who has been living in Kuala Lumpur, recently visited the family in Keller, and was able to visit with his parents, siblings, and other members of his family. Philip's former wife still lives locally, and his youngest son is attending Texas A&M.
