Erin Spalla is the 2023-2024 Board Chair for Community Storehouse, where she has held Board Membership since 2021. Erin’s professional career includes 18 years of HR leadership at multi-national organizations, most recently as head of compensation & HR analytics at BNSF Railway, a Class I railroad headquartered in Fort Worth, TX. Erin holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s from Roosevelt University. Originally a Chicago native, Erin moved to Fort Worth in 2016 with her husband and two children.
Katie Johnston is the CEO of Community Storehouse. She lives in Keller with her husband and two children. Before working at Community Storehouse, she worked with Tarrant Area Food Bank, managed federally funded children’s food programs, sat on the employee engagement committee, and was a founding member of the Tarrant Area Food Bank Toastmaster’s Club. Before that she worked in banking for 8 years. Katie holds a degree from Texas State University and is a Delta Gamma Alumni. |

Kristy Shabout is a native Texan, born in Fort Worth. She was raised in the area and
graduated from UT Arlington (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and Texas
Woman’s University (Master of Science in Nursing).
Professionally, her nursing career has included Neonatal ICU, Fast Track ER, Pediatric
Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner, and school nursing. Her transition into the
pharmaceutical world led to an interest in Drug Safety and FDA reporting. Currently
employed at Arcutis Biotherapeutics, she is the Manager of Pharmacovigilance
Operations.
Kristy joined the Golden Triangle Rotary Club in April 2021. She loves serving the
community with her friends and fellow Rotarians and seeing the impact a few willing
people can make when they choose Service Above Self. She has been active on her
Rotary’s board and is currently President Elect for the 2023-2024 year.

Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University and her Master’s Degree and Doctorate from the University of North Texas. She started her educational career at Northwest ISD as an elementary school teacher. After serving as a third-grade teacher and a gifted and talented educator, Dr. Johnson began her administrative career in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and then joined Keller ISD as the Coordinator of Advanced Academics. She left to begin a Human Resource leadership role in Denton ISD in 2016, serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources, before returning to Keller ISD in 2019. |

Fire Safety in the home

November 5, 2023 marked 28 years in the fire service for Debra. She began her career as a fire fighter for the City of Frisco and in 1995 and in 1998 she changed departments and went to the City of McKinney. In 2001 she transferred into the Fire Marshal’s office. Fire prevention and public education have been her focus. She began serving the citizens of Keller in February 2007 as a Fire Inspector and moved up to Fire Marshal in 2013. She carries several Master Certifications with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection including Fire Fighter, Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter and Fire Marshal. She is also certified as a Plans Examiner, Fire Service Instructor, Fire and Life Safety Educator and Driver/Pump Operator. In her off time, she operates a nonprofit cat rescue that caters to feral cats. They have a 1,500 square foot fully enclosed Sanctuary for their furry friends. |

Let's support and recognize the High School Interact Club (High School version of Rotary) students! Our job as Rotarians is to be the servers for the night! This is their year-end banquet where they will share what they accomplished this year. We will also be recognizing the outgoing officers and having the induction ceremony of the incoming officers for 3 KISD Interact Clubs. Tracy Johnson, the KISD Superintendent, will be our MC. Headcount due by Tuesday evening, April 2nd. Program starts at 7pm and should be finished by 8:30pm |
