Vice-President of the Board/ Saving Sully Coordinator/ Transport Paperwork CoordinatorMichelle is a native Texan, wife of Jon, mother of Mitchell, Miranda, Mirielle, Roscoe, JD, and Lula's mommy, and puppy foster mommy. She has been blessed to house over 200 dogs, mostly puppies, in that time. She is an Aggie because she always wanted to be a vet, but she has been a salesperson, chemist, developer, and teacher instead! She has volunteered in some way since she was in high school but working with P4P and fostering is by far the most rewarding of all the groups with which she has worked. Her whole family is dog crazy and we all foster or volunteer with P4P in some way, including her mom!

Stepping Stones Foundation
Mar. 17, 2026
Katie Bynum is the Executive Director of Stepping Stones Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving youth in crisis throughout North Texas. Founded by her mother, Christina Bynum-Breaux, Stepping Stones Foundation (SSF) has long been rooted in meeting urgent needs and walking alongside young people toward stability and hope. After gaining years of nonprofit and for-profit operational experience, returning to lead SSF feels like a homecoming to Katie and one that allows her to honor its mission while guiding it into its next chapter of growth and impact. They meet urgent needs like food, shelter, clothing, and transportation while equipping young people, especially those aging out of traditional support systems, with the skills, stability, and support they need to thrive. Through programs including Project Perseverance, Project Oasis, Project Hunger Force, and Project Career Launch, we walk alongside at-risk youth and young adults as they transition toward independence and self-sufficiency. She brings years of experience in operational oversight and strategic execution, including consulting for struggling businesses to stabilize operations, improve processes, and drive sustainable growth. Drawing on her background in nonprofit and for-profit operations, she guides Stepping Stones Foundation’s program growth, partnerships, and overall community impact. She is deeply passionate about building sustainable systems of support that help young people create stable, hopeful futures. |
