Erin Spalla is the 2023-2024 Board Chair for Community Storehouse, where she has held Board Membership since 2021.  Erin’s professional career includes 18 years of HR leadership at multi-national organizations, most recently as head of compensation & HR analytics at BNSF Railway, a Class I railroad headquartered in Fort Worth, TX.    Erin holds an MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor’s from Roosevelt University.  Originally a Chicago native, Erin moved to Fort Worth in 2016 with her husband and two children. 

 

Katie Johnston is the CEO of Community Storehouse.  She lives in Keller with her husband and two children.  Before working at Community Storehouse, she worked with Tarrant Area Food Bank, managed federally funded children’s food programs, sat on the employee engagement committee, and was a founding member of the Tarrant Area Food Bank Toastmaster’s Club.  Before that she worked in banking for 8 years.  Katie holds a degree from Texas State University and is a Delta Gamma Alumni.

Kristy Shabout is a native Texan, born in Fort Worth. She was raised in the area and
graduated from UT Arlington (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) and Texas
Woman’s University  (Master of Science in Nursing).
Professionally, her nursing career has included Neonatal ICU, Fast Track ER, Pediatric
Primary Care as a Nurse Practitioner, and school nursing. Her transition into the
pharmaceutical world led to an interest in Drug Safety and FDA reporting. Currently
employed at Arcutis Biotherapeutics, she is the Manager of Pharmacovigilance
Operations.
 
Kristy joined the Golden Triangle Rotary Club in April 2021. She loves serving the
community with her friends and fellow Rotarians and seeing the impact a few willing
people can make when they choose Service Above Self. She has been active on her
Rotary’s board and is currently President Elect for the 2023-2024 year.

Dr. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Woman’s University and her Master’s Degree and Doctorate from the University of North Texas. She started her educational career at Northwest ISD as an elementary school teacher. After serving as a third-grade teacher and a gifted and talented educator, Dr. Johnson began her administrative career in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD and then joined Keller ISD as the Coordinator of Advanced Academics. She left to begin a Human Resource leadership role in Denton ISD in 2016, serving as the Executive Director of Human Resources, before returning to Keller ISD in 2019.

Debra Crafton, Fire Marshall, City of Keller Fire Safety in the home Feb. 20, 2024

November 5, 2023 marked 28 years in the fire service for Debra. She began her career as a fire fighter for the City of Frisco and in 1995 and in 1998 she changed departments and went to the City of McKinney. In 2001 she transferred into the Fire Marshal’s office. Fire prevention and public education have been her focus. She began serving the citizens of Keller in February 2007 as a Fire Inspector and moved up to Fire Marshal in 2013. She carries several Master Certifications with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection including Fire Fighter, Fire Investigator, Fire Inspector, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter and Fire Marshal. She is  also certified as a Plans Examiner, Fire Service Instructor, Fire and Life Safety Educator and Driver/Pump Operator. In her off time, she  operates a nonprofit cat rescue that caters to feral cats. They have a 1,500 square foot fully enclosed Sanctuary for their furry friends.

The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce
Bev Dixon The Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce Mar. 05, 2024

Beverly (Bev) Dixon took over the helm of the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce on May 1 st
after serving as Interim President and CEO since October 2022. Although relatively new to the
Chamber world, she brought years of proven leadership to the role.
Bev is originally from Norman, Oklahoma. She entered the U.S. Navy after high school and
served eight years enlisted before her selection to the Enlisted Commissioning Program. She
earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from North Carolina State University and was
commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer in July 2000. After 21 years of service, she
retired from the Navy in September 2010.
Bev is actively engaged in the community as a board member for the Fort Worth Northpark
YMCA, past president and member of the National Charity League (Keller chapter), Greater
Keller Women's Club member, and parishioner at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in
Colleyville. She has served in several leadership positions in the Keller Independent School
District (KISD), including a member of the Board of Trustees from 2017-2023.
In June 2011, Bev and her family moved to Keller after her husband, John retired from the U.S.
Marine Corps. They have been married for 24 years and have two daughters.

 Ron Shipp is a renowned figure in the skydiving community, with 4,842 skydives and a dozen medals at national competitions. He has participated in world record attempts and has been skydiving in numerous countries from Indonesia to Ukraine. However, he is best known for his leadership as the captain of the competitive skydiving team, Dallas Disturbance. His journey in skydiving is marked by dedication, skill, and a passion for building teams and communities that has led him to the highest levels in the sport. Dallas Disturbance Dallas Disturbance is a 16-person competitive skydiving team that has made a significant impact on the national stage. Under Ron’s captaincy, the team is known for its innovative strategies and impressive performances at the US National skydiving championships competing against full time professionals such as the US Army Golden Knights. The team has a reputation for always being a strong contender in national competitions and earning medals in multiple formation skydiving disciplines including 4, 8, 10 and 16 person team events. Legacy and Influence Ron Shipp’s influence extends beyond his own team. His approach to training and competition has been noted for its potential to change how teams prepare for and compete in skydiving events. His legacy is one of pushing the boundaries and elevating the sport to new heights. Professional Background Ron’s vision and expertise have established him as a respected leader in the field of marketing analytics, serving as the President and Founder of Customer IQ Analytics. Ron’s academic background includes two Master’s degrees from the University of Texas. Artistic Endeavors Ron is an acclaimed photographer whose work captures the essence of urban life and architecture transcending mere images to become a form of art. He’s been featured in various exhibits and his works purchased by collectors, corporations and municipalities.
