How Do I Become A Rotarian?

Membership in a Rotary club is by invitation only. We want to make sure you join a club that fits your passion and perspective. If you live in the greater Keller, Texas area and are looking for a club that meets at lunch, then the Rotary Club of Keller is a great place to start.  If you have questions, contact us by email at info@rotaryclubofkeller.org.

  1. First, JOIN US AT A MEETING.  You express interest in joining with us in “Service Above Self”.  Note that we are not the Rotary of the past and you do not need to be a businessperson.  We are open to all that want to serve their fellow humans with their time and financial resources while having fun. We are People Of Action.
    • The best way is to visit our club at one of the weekly meetings.  We normally meet on Tuesdays at 12 noon at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club. See https://rotaryclubofkeller.org/ to ensure that we are meeting at Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club on that day. In the menu bar, click on “Speakers”.
    • You may also express your interest and provide your contact information to us by email at info@rotaryclubofkeller.org and one of our club officers will get in touch with you.
    • The membership application will need to be completed prior to the club officially considering your application for membership.
  2. GET TO KNOW US AND WE GET TO KNOW YOU. A Rotary club member will contact you by email or phone to discuss your interest in Rotary. You will be invited to get to know the club better by attending a few club meetings, maybe a social event, or even to join in on a service project as a volunteer.
  3. After we have spent some time together and we both DETERMINE THAT WE ARE A GOOD FIT, you will be invited to join. A membership application must be completed by this time.
  4. Based on an officer’s recommendation to our Board of Directors, your application will be voted on.  WHEN APPROVED, YOU ARE A MEMBER.
  5. THEN ENJOY GETTING INVOLVED in your new club as a member of a worldwide organization that has fun while making the local community and the world a better place to live. Join a committee. Lead a service project. Organize a social event. Lead and contribute to your new club. Learn the joy and satisfaction of "SERVICE ABOVE SELF".
